How Achievements Are Destructive
Emma is a senior at Newbury Park High School. She’s been playing the piano since she was in the fourth grade and finds it to be a therapeutic activity. She can never thank her piano teacher enough for not only helping her to find passion in playing the piano, but for all the useful life advice and guidance. She will be attending California State University Channel Islands next year to major in liberal studies with a teaching and learning emphasis. Emma hopes to become an Elementary School teacher. After volunteering to tutor Elementary School children with the Thousand Oaks Teen Tutoring Program, she fell in love with the gratification she got from helping kids learn. Emma hopes she can help children find the same love for learning that she has found.
